Amber has taught dozens of classes in garden design at both the New York and Brooklyn botanical gardens. Her client list includes many of the world’s most notables, including George Soros, Anna Quindlen, Brett Icahn, Joseph Edelman, David Faucon, Reshma Shetty, Aetna founder and CEO Mark Bertolini, and make-up guru Bobbi Brown.
Amber has been interviewed as a guest expert by the CBS New York Morning Show. She has also been featured in The New York Times, the Associated Press, Better Homes & Gardens, HGTV, Daily Candy, New York House, New York Resident, Garden Design, Design Bureau, and New York Magazine.
Amber started her own business in 2004 with a desire to provide high-end, detail-oriented urban garden design. She wanted to offer clients a design aesthetic that was really clean, contemporary, and grounded. By grounded, she means a design should feel connected to the space’s architecture, the individual style of the client, and also the pulse of the city around it.
Amber personally oversees the design of every project from start to finish. Your project will never be handed over to a sales rep or an installation crew, like most big landscaping companies, where the owner is typically only there for the initial consultation. Amber will be there working on your project every step of the way, from the initial design all the way up to the actual day of installation, making sure that every detail meets her high standards.
Amber is also available for winter garden design consultations and overseeing installations in warm climate cities, including Miami, Houston, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.
